Before you formally engage any individual or organization to help you in defining and then reaching your specific career objectives, you want to gauge your comfort level and confidence with those you are turning to for support.

Likewise, CCI wants to ensure that we are a good match for our client's specific career development objectives so that we can maximize our chances of helping you drive positive change in your career (and your life). Why? Well, in addition to fulfilling our main goal of helping you, it really comes down to wanting to build and maintain a superior client success rate for our business, and to be able to benefit from outstanding testimonials and customer referrals to grow the business.

CCI's career assessment process is a big part of making this "matching" effective. In our assessment session, we'll spend 75 to 90 minutes talking together and sizing each other up -- in large part to help determine if we are a good match for each other and whether we'll have an effective and successful working relationship.

Here are a few specifics about our assessment session and what's generally covered off:

• Offered as a no cost, no obligation session for any interested individual;
• You complete a standard CCI assessment form which takes 20 to 30 minutes to complete;
• You email the completed form back to CCI for review prior to our scheduled session;
• Scheduled session can be conducted in a face-to-face session (if you reside in/around Ottawa) or by phone if you are not located in Ottawa (CCI places the call and covers all applicable calling charges -- for this free session and also in any subsequent coaching engagements);
• During the (phone or in-person) session, we cover off:
  • your current career concerns, challenges and/or opportunities
  • the status of your job search strategy and your progress to date
  • how traditional job search techniques are flawed and probably aren't delivering you results
  • the importance of the "hidden job market" but why leveraging it is so hard for most people
  • how your personality plays a key role in determining your "perfect job"
  • your specific personality characteristics, using our proprietary personality tool
  • how you can "brand" yourself using your personality profile as the starting point
  • how to construct and package a highly effective curriculum vitae (CV or resume)
  • how to effectively use "chaos theory" and "six degrees of separation" strategies in your job search.

At the conclusion of the session, we'll provide you with full details about all our CCI program and pricing options and what program we recommend for you based on our assessment results. Then we'll follow up with an brief email summary of our findings and our recommendations. At that point, it's up to you to decide what you want to do, and whether it will involve CCI. It's completely up to you.
